My friend, Izabel Hoyos, is in the process of completing a documentary on the story of a multinational corporation that is threatening the ecology and livelihood of a town in Colombia. She needs your help to finish this documentary.

About the Film:

The film investigates the ecological and human impact of industrial gold mining in the developing world with the intention of mobilizing an international audience to defend environmental regulation and demand social justice on behalf of under-represented populations. The documentary captures the intimate story of a peaceful Colombian gold mining  village with over 500 years of existense, currently it is on the verge of destruction as a multinational mining company plans a total take over. The filmmakers are seeking contributions to bring the  film into completion. To read more about the project, and to view the footage please visit this link:
